Formed in 2015 in Geneva by the charismatic singer/guitarist Chris Wall and drummer Greg "VG" Richardson, SPIT RECKLESS surrounds itself with a longtime friend, Gilbert "Gibs" Marin for bass guitar. The band finds in the person of young Rufin the ideal guitarist and releases in 2017 its first single "You Make Me Happy".
With a sensitive and gritty voice reminding of a certain Myles Kennedy, catchy choruses in the vein of Foo Fighters and a show both authentic and full of energy, SPIT RECKLESS is certainly the new Swiss band to follow. The music is simple, direct and effective.
Self-proclaimed "power pop rock", the band records in 2018 its first album "Heat Maker". Eleven songs that ignite the powder allowing SPIT RECKLESS to get noticed by the medias (Daily Rock magazine, Transit Magazine, Leman Bleu TV etc.) and broadcasted on several radios, including Couleur3 and La Une (Swiss).
With real hits such as "Magic Pills", "You Make Me Happy" and "Shackles", SPIT RECKLESS is the headliner of Versoleo Music Festival (France) and RADAR Festival (Switzerland).The band stands out by winning the talent contests of “Les Vaches Folks” Festival (France), “Rock N Road” Festival (France) and gets to perform in several festivals including Pack Rock Festival, F'Estival Les Pépites, REM Festival, Golden Festival and Festiverbant.
The stage is now the band best playground and with more than a hundred concerts since its creation, SPIT RECKLESS has built a strong reputation.
2019 sees the arrival of a new guitarist, Sergio Barbieri (ex Sueno, Ciel A Vendre). His talent and motivation allow SPIT RECKLESS to explore new horizons.
From 2020 to 2022, the band performs in several festivals including Pop Rock Festival, Musifrat Festival, BeRock Festival, Paillote Festival, Rock The Pistes Festival, Chapel Festival, Corn'Rock Festival, and many more!
The band returned to the studio and released the album "Rock N Rolla Supernova Vol. 1" in 2023. The tracks "Still Think About You", "Bad", "How Many Times," and "Miles Away" quickly became classics and are followed by music videos.
The arrival of the talented Kevin Queille on keyboards allowed SPIT RECKLESS to return to the road and to perform at the Rock O'Marais Festival, Sea Fest N Sound Festival, Rock My Ferme, Gressy Air Fest, Festiverbant, and in 2024, finalist at Guitare en Scène Festival's talent contest.
The band is now stronger than ever and released the single "Where Did You Go?" in 2025.
